FT Hood number 1 base in handing out tickets (over 19,000 a year) To my Ft Hood people, if you can, check out the latest Sentinel newspaper where it says that FT Hood was the number 1 post in handing out speeding tickets. At a rate of over 19000 tickets a year. Thats over 50 tickets a day. Watch out for the Impalas.

holy ****. thats alot of tickets! I rolled through there to visit an army buddy of mine last year. That base is huge compared to offutt afb.(well everybase is huge comapared to offutt.)

that base has a lot of MPs, but it also has a TON of troops that can't ******* drive too. i'd say thats the main reason for so many tickets. i only received one ticket in my 3 years @ Hood, and it was in my wife's old car(gf at the time). the MPs are hit or miss, some are ****** and some are pretty cool.
