Im not a 13W but all I can say is have fun at Sill. Thats has got to be the most boring post anywhere.

 

Drive 50 miles south to Wichita Falls. You'll find us at the Sonic on Kemp Street on Friday and Saturday nights.

I am being stationed there around sometime in Sept. I am origanally from Norman Oklahoma so the boring part isnt to bad for me. You just have to know where to go and what to do. I know of all the good night spots. There is a place in OKC that on Sat is totoally packed with F-Body's. Lots of streetracing and hanging out. There is another guy on here that goes by ramshaft. He is also stationed at fort sill. If you have any questions about Oklahoma feel free to ask. Oh yeah there are several performance shops in OKC that specialize in just LS1 cars, so no worries there.

 

sounds good. look me up when you get into town, i'll be driving a silver SS with CA plates. Can't miss it. I'll need some stress relief by that time too, i'm sure i'll have to babysit some kids while i'm there for 13W training and my 3rd MOS.

Was born at Sheppard AFB. Was the second bigest baby on record. I think I am still up there. Not much there lol, movie theater, auto shop, BX.... LOTS of planes LOL.

 

So does anyone know what the best unit on Sill is.

i live here in lawton and i know what you are talking about. the clubs suck and there is really nothing to do. on friday nights i got to the track and run my car or bike. its only a 1/8th mile but its fun none the less. you should bring your car out there.

 

dude you guys got to go up to 12st in moore or 39th st aka(route66) in OKC. It is insane how many cars are up on 39th on a saturday night. It might as well be a car show and drag stip in one.

 

i've heard of that track, but i didn't bring my helmet or DR's with me. Nonne the less PM me with directions and i'll come out there.

 

No, that's Altus Air Force Base in Altus 55 miles west. We actually head over to Sill cause it's a nice base and has more than 400 people in the town.

 

I am headed to Ft. Sill on Sunday 13 August... I am a 1Sg @ the Reception Bn... ( Former Drill sergeant @ 1/40th, 1/19 & 2/80th... I am currently in the USAR.. Just returned from Afghanistan & Ft. Benning last May...

I'll be in the LPM Z28 with black accents & black Z06's... Oh yeah, you'll hear me coming...
