Anyone else going to be doing the Deid in Sept?

 

Not this time around...maybe in January.

 

Well I should be leaving around that time

 

My wife will be over there for that rotation.

 

I'll be comming back in Sept.!

 

I am in Bahrain now! Will be back in April.....

 

Got any words of wisdom?

Deid is a cool place My dad's there for about the 4th or 5th time... your names(if yur goin in sept) have probably already crossed his desk.. he's NCOIC in logistics and said he has thousands of names in spreadsheets for teh transition lol....

 

Leaving in 5 days have fun in pt gear but im sure ill be back here before you leave

i was at al udeid before, during, and after the war and that place was awesome both times. you are going to enjoy it. we have a bunch of fuels guys heading there in sept. whats your afsc?

al udied is a great deployment....svs really hooks things up there...i know i was one of them...been there twice ....first time i met my wife there....
