Dang ... used to fly the UH-1H and AH-1 Cobra simulators at Fort Campbell, Ky a few years back. I'm a 49 y.o. retired Master Sergeant. My unit's S3 shop used to run the simulator facility, so, I got simulator time anytime I wanted it. Did a lot of slingload Operations in Desert Storm and at Fort Bragg. I also was the Brigade Communications Chief at Fort Hood for CATB (Combat Aviation Brigade) ... did the SINCGARS, SHF, UHF, and AM radio communications in the AH-64 Apache ... also Command and Control bird FM radio consoles. Also did radio communications console in the CEWI (Communications/Electronics Warfare Intercept) UH-60M BlackHawk aircraft ... 6-101st at Fort Campbell. Wow, I sure miss those days! My dad also was an Air Force transport pilot in the Korean War era. After 9 years in the A.F., he got out and managed an airport in East Tennesse near my hometown. I used to fly small fixed wing aircraft (many years ago) ... when I was younger after my dad taught me to fly. I don't consider myself a pilot, though ... that was many years ago.

AFROTC right now praying for my pilot slot, drop comes in in 2-3 weeks.

Also a civi pilot, PVT/IFR/Complex and chugging along at commercial and then multi.

dantastic01SS, Peoria is 16's or 130s? I always forget, between Springfield and Peoria who has what. Either way bad *** and hope you get it. Have you taken your AFOQT and TBAS yet? Flight hours help the TBAS a pretty good amount. Post up your scores for those if you have em.

thanks buddy, and if you want to fly never give up on your dreams!
I was discouraged by my recruiter (told me that it was too hard to get accepted), seven years later look where I am at.
