Lucky you! If memory serves me correct, that is in Bahgdad.
Welll just enjoy the crap out of that place. Its has the largest PX in Iraq. You can go broke really fast.
I was at Speicher in '04-'05 but made it to Victory a couple of times. I'm sure it's only gotten bigger.

To update on a previous post, victory *had* one of the biggest PXs. It got blows the **** up 
. Haha, but they rebuilt it pretty close to the same size. Theres a big secondary wall on it now, etc. The DFAC on victory is the best army food I've ever had. It's immaculate. PX like i said pretty big, MWR is okay. Lots going on on main post. I'm at seitz annex which is like a half mile off of main post, bout a mile from the px.
Oh, and they call it camp trash can for a reason. Real shithole out here, trash everywhere. Relatively quiet though, just your occasional popshots and mortars going off. Soft cap and acus. Baghdad international airport is inside the camp. (camp liberty is the same as camp victory, the two sides of post are called different camps)

I have been there. Was there in January and several times last year. It's one of the better bases in that hellhole. Hotter then hell also. Be prepared to get the occasional incoming rockets, which usually turn out to be duds.

I liked Victory I was there in Apr 03-July03 before i had to relocate to Balad. blah. I had my own boat 
No **** lol. That was before it is the way it is now though. I am in Taji now. This place for me is not too bad, its big but not too big. I am a civilian though (prior Army) but I am attached to 1st Cav right now. Good luck, I can think of worse places to be. My little brother was in Hit, just north of Ramadi. He went home recently. He earned 2 purple hearts out there. **** gets real in some places. Some FOB's and bigger bases have no clue sometimes. Not saying anything bad but some of you guys know what I am talking about lol.
