I'm home on leave and just got a call from my Commander asking "are you tired of being a SrA..." I made Staff!!! This is a very big surprise to me, I was already happy about it being payday but damn, I really didn't expect to get a phone call from my Commander to let me know that I made Staff. Congrats to the rest of you guys who've made Staff, I don't know what my line number is but I honestly I'm just happy to have made Staff...

Congrats on all who make it!
Remember, as a (SSgt) Select you have ALL the responsibilities of an NCO, but NOt the pay!!!!
I remmeber I got my line number of like 16,000 (or something) and wouldn't sew on for 11 months, but was expected to attend ALL NCO meetings.
Call it your breaking in period...

No (S)Sgt here, which is fine by me only cuz this was my first time testing and I really don't want the NCO responsibility. Not ready for it now at 24, kinda lame sounding but its the thruth.
Congrats to all you guys that did make it tho!!!

remember to walk the straight line....it's easy to lose your line numbers, but it's alittle harder to take it off your sleeve...when I made it eons ago I had to wait 11 months to put it on...I had friends that lost their line numbers because of conduct issues or fatboy program....just a heads up....
