BTW, in the army if youre in a tech job you focus on that way more then shooting and things of that nature. I picked up a weapon twice a year to fire when I was active.

Here is a prime exapmle of the strictness and discipline that the air force has, along with their genius too.

I do weapons training too every year for the whole day, M16 and M9 (shooting, cleaning, handling).

I'm not going to make excuses for that mess but if we're going to point fingers lets not forget about Abu Ghraib debacle(sp) ran by the ARMY and there are more but lets not go there.

Not to fan the fire but I have 5 years of Marine Aviation and soon getting out and so far in the job hunt the big boys in civilian aviation prefer aircraft mechs from the Corps over any other.....hell Boeing said something along the lines of discipline, work ethic and attention to detail.........and another thing that pretty damn arrogant to generalize the Corps like that

Let us not forget about our Sailor sisters. Seems like everyone else has gotten pitched.
By the way, I'm not biased of course, but IMHO compared to the Marine Corps, everybody else is just "playing military". Sit on it.
