Default Thank You Summit Racing

Well for those that didnt know I wrote summit to see if they wanted to send me and my soldiers some care packages while we were over here. Not only were they interested but sent packages out 24hrs later.
Got
26 Summit Hats
26 mixed chevy, morpar, ford, shirts
and about 200 diffrent car, truck, lowrider, ect mag.

I knew they were a good company and as often as I could i did business through them, but to get a reaspons like that is mind blowing. I will deffinately do more business through them.
Dont know if anyone from summit racing reads these forums but if so THANK YOU. For lifting our spirits and showing support during the xmas season

Very cool!

It's been awhile since I looked through a Summit catalogue, but I wish they would get a larger variety of LSX aftermarket stuff...I guess I'm just jealous because the 5.0 'Stang guys have about a 50 page section just for them.

I waas expecting a reaspons, something like we would love to send you some catalogs, but we cnat send you gear, jsut have your soldiers order thur the catalog....
I got something simular from Monster, the drink company, they sent me an email stating, "we sell our product in your PX/BX look for it there" i wasnt looking for hand outs, but some hats, shirts, stickers even wouldnt have been so bad.
Now i know companies get hit up all the time for support, and I have even listed help from some of our Sponors on here, and have a few already sending me stuff. I guess I just dont fully grasp the companies strain....
Either way yeah summit took care of me, and they are getting something in return, a thank you from all of us here, we are fly a flag for them, (american) and then getting it certified, stateing when and where the flag was flown in a combat zone, its not much but its something. Its nice to see a company that I have put alot of money into give something back....

That's awesome that they did that.

But they still don't offer military discounts

There are definitely a few of us on here. And I'm glad we helped you out. Likewise, all of appreciate what you do for us. It's far more valuable than anything we could ever do for you. So thank you!

Merry christmas!

DICALAIMER: I'm not a sponsor nor do I come here trying to represent the company I work for or try to sell anything. So I hope no one takes it that way.

PICNIC_GEORGE and I both work at summit, and I am very pleased to find out that the company that we work for sent you guys serving our country all of those goods. Thank You for protecting our freedoms.

And as PICNIC_GEORGE said I am not coming on here as a non-sponser trying to advertise, I just wanted to say and give thanks to our men and women overseas.

I've been a Summit customer fan for about 5 years now, very satisfied with them and will continue to buy from them.

Feel lucky: they hardly sell any parts for 1986-1987 Buick Grand Nationals.

Nice to hear of a big company supporting the MIL.

How well did the ford merchandise burn?

Unfortunatly it was taken very fast, though I did have plans for a fire and picures, just to post up here and make you all smile, but i couldnt do that to the summit stuff, they were nice enought to send it so i gave it a 10 life span. If it still had been here then I would have set it ablaze, but no such luck.
It was nice to get something, and it came quick.
Also BYUNSPEED sent me a stack of shirts, which im still working on getting everyone to getter for a picture.....

Awesome, I was in a "unit" for a while over there and when we would experiment with vehicle lighting systems or needed something performance-wise. I would have our Supply guy order form Summit. We would spend @ $1,000 to $25,000 in one shot. Granted, they couldn't ship directly to us, but the service was great and I still use them back here.

I have to say I was impressed, I have delt with them only for a few years.... customer service was a wallet saver (wrong exhaust kit...loong story) but to get them to support us this way, they have earned a new level of respect from me, along with half the other shops that sent me stuff.
None of them had to do it but they did, and it wasnt like i begged, they just did. That means alot to people over here, the looks on faces when I told them what it as and why they sent it.
I just want to say thanks to everyone that sent something and that will send stuff after they get ahold of this thread.....
