the one that stays in my closet...id rather not have to wear them...the navy whites get dirty too quick, the blues are just awkward

Here's yet another AF guy who votes Marine. Air Force keeps changing it every decade or two to make it 'cool'. Cool, I say, is sticking to what looked good in the first place.

USN here, and I am totally with everyone that says the Marines dress uniform looks **** hot. I like the Navy dress blues (crackerjacks), but the white hat makes us look ridiculous. 
USN E7 and above mess dress looks nice, as does the Officer dress uniforms.
in short: I have to give the nod to my Marine Corps bretheren.

Navy dress whites, but I am kinda partial.
As far as saluting with the wring hand. The guy is a sideboy, and more than likely a boatswains mate blowing the boatswains whistle. I can't see his rating badge, but it is tradition when the CO come across the brow in full dress for a special occasion.

If you wear it right it doesnt look like such crap. A lot of soldiers dont care and have them looking all retarded and wrinkly because they just throw the **** in their car after they get off. A green beret definately gets the ladies and enlisted attention though. We were in a burger king on post one day and everyone was staring at us like we were on some black ops mission to steal hamburgers or some ****, ever since then anytime we wanna eat at BK its "operation burger eat"
