I dont think anyone said they didnt move decent with a few mods, but stock they trap right around 100mph on the high average. Some will do a little better most will do a little worse.

Saying a car was in a dead spot and thats why the other car won is just like the guy who jumps out initially and the other car is reeling him in, then the guy out in front shuts down early and says he won.. its all bs.

I lost to a stock S r t 4 once. Then i told the three other people in my car to get off and i won.
Those cars do run good even stock. over 200hp and less than 3k in weight.

If a stock skittle went up against a stock ls1 that was automatic, the skittle has a good chance of winning. If it went up against a manaul ls1, theres really no way it would win UP TOP, maybe down low but no ******* way will it pull a m6 trans am over 120, no way. And thats stock for stock. Its possible but not likely

Being a S RT4 owner and racer, he probably has a lot of work done on the stock turbo housing for that kind of power.....mine is putting out a hair over 300 hp with a bone stock turbo, but the guy that works on mine has dyno sheets on his pulling over 440 hp and about the same in torq...his tires are useless on the street except 5th gear!

Another thing to not....almost all of the V8s in the UMTR series that are running 12.7-13.2s have short time of 1.6-1.9 while I am pulling a stock like 2.0-2.1....out on the street and from a roll I can out run them....at the track they scoot way ahead and then I play catch up....from a roll a bone stock S RT4 runs more like a 13.0 car. Our top speed stock is electrically limited to 155 mph....I have hit it....moded like mine the limiter is removed, but I am 57 and too old to try to find the new top end.

I have not seen or heard of a street tired stock WS6 go quicker than a 13.39 and some with automatics are 14.4s in the 1/4.

I have a couple other articles of a bone stock LS1 Camaro SS running in the high 12s if you want to see those too. (if you don't already know, they are the same exact car)

and the reason for this is because a4 ls1s are low 14 cars that trap 100.. and m6 ls1s are low 13 cars that trap 110 right...

stock an s rt4 is more like a high 13 low 14 car..

lmao... there have been TONS of bone stock ls1s non ram air and ram air go much faster than a 13.39.... as far as autos running 14.4, i have seen manuals run slower than that.. and i have seen H/C cars run around those times..

you are about as clueless as the guy i quoted above..

why did i buy an a4 if they are so damned slow..

It was 35 ish, maybe 40 i know it was just out of 1st though. I have no doubt in my mind that the same driver in manual tranny cars, the ls1 will get him for sure. if you run them down the track, give the ls1 a stock auto and it will still win. Skittles suck from a dig from my experience.

you people are hilarious...

when stock me and my buddy(also a4).. raced a **** ton of other stock ls1s.. i nither of us never lost to similar modded ones..

IF a m6 beat an a4 from 40-100, your talking 2 feet.. lmao.. hardly enough to make a difference in a race.. 's

lmao... no one said that an M6 is LEAPS AND BOUNDS better that an A4. In roll races, there are things called "sweet spots" and "dead spots', they make a difference in the outcome of the race. Throw deeper gears and a stall into an A4 and its over. (usually) i'm gonna have to disagree with you if you are trying to say that a stock A4 will run just as well as an M6 from a roll. newb

yea you caught me.. im a newb... no idea what im talking about... and i DEFINITELY do not EVER street race....

i will say that from a roll (40mph-100mph) that stock for stock a m6 might be able to pull 1/2 a car on an a4... granted thats with a driver.... other than that.. same thing.... once the modding starts things change... a4 kills m6 from a dig, m6 kills a4 from a roll..
