Not too many people have it right now, but the numbers look very good. great under the curve power, which is what i want. chrs1313 is running awesome times with it cam only. i know i wont touch his times though. 10.8x's i believe. it wont be going in till spring, living in nebraska, so im keeping my options open.
ahhhh... chris has indeed turn out some very impressive times...

the reason your buddies is not street friendly is totally the tune.. when i had a mail order on mine........

actually.. FWIW... in MY OPINION a stalled a4 is 10 times more fun than an m6...

i have driven both also..
You totally skipped the skill part........better gas mileage, down shifts and auto cross/road courses are where an automatic falls flat on its face

Wow, a post where I'm with you 100% LOL

For the auto vs manual argument, I love both, so I bought both. It's been working out great, best of both worlds.

As for the SRT vs LS1, from my experiences both on the street and on the drag strip, a fast SRT can beat a slow LS1, but on average the LS1 will win. That being said, I do respect the SRT for being a cool little grocery getter type car. Personally, I could never deal with FWD in a car that I'm gonna drag race often.

People need to realize that these little 2900lb turbo cars are as quick as some GT's, stock ls1's, etc..........****, my 94 Lt1 ran a best of 14.3 back in the day.

I ran a slow *** 13.6 stock with my z. I would sure love to race a stock ls1, lt1 or GT this summer in my Cobalt. Gona be an interesting summer.

we got a local guy in a cobalt that runs pretty damn good for what it is. he's hoping for 7.9x's in the 1/8th this spring. i dont think that will happen though

Not every LS1 runs a 12.80 or even a 13.30 for that matter.
dumdumdumdumdum's are impossible to launch.

I'm glad there are people understanding this. 2 years ago when I bought my dumdumdumdumdum I was flamed for say the LS1 could be beaten by a lowly dodge 4 door.

Boy how things have changed and look how much respect the SR T-4 gets now.

makes no sense to me, i beat an slightly modded s-rt4 with my car while it only had a few mods and it was lean at 16:8-1(13.8 1/4 mile times) without a tune. no way that srt is stock unless that was an lt1 car with ls1 tailights

Wait wut? They get laughed out of every parking lot they pull into around here. There just a peon with a turbo offered in every color in the rainbow, complete with the gay *** rainbow bright rear wing...
