not too much really. i have a buddy with an ms4 and m6, but not too street friendly. only has a mail order tune on it though. I PM'd Pred-Z and he recommended the 230/230 612/598 111+2. Not too many people have it right now, but the numbers look very good. great under the curve power, which is what i want. chrs1313 is running awesome times with it cam only. i know i wont touch his times though. 10.8x's i believe. it wont be going in till spring, living in nebraska, so im keeping my options open.
the reason your buddies is not street friendly is totally the tune.. when i had a mail order on mine........

For the auto vs manual argument, I love both, so I bought both. It's been working out great, best of both worlds.
As for the SRT vs LS1, from my experiences both on the street and on the drag strip, a fast SRT can beat a slow LS1, but on average the LS1 will win. That being said, I do respect the SRT for being a cool little grocery getter type car. Personally, I could never deal with FWD in a car that I'm gonna drag race often.

People need to realize that these little 2900lb turbo cars are as quick as some GT's, stock ls1's, etc..........****, my 94 Lt1 ran a best of 14.3 back in the day.
I ran a slow *** 13.6 stock with my z. I would sure love to race a stock ls1, lt1 or GT this summer in my Cobalt. Gona be an interesting summer.

Not every LS1 runs a 12.80 or even a 13.30 for that matter.
dumdumdumdumdum's are impossible to launch.
I'm glad there are people understanding this. 2 years ago when I bought my dumdumdumdumdum I was flamed for say the LS1 could be beaten by a lowly dodge 4 door.
Boy how things have changed and look how much respect the SR T-4 gets now.

makes no sense to me, i beat an slightly modded s-rt4 with my car while it only had a few mods and it was lean at 16:8-1(13.8 1/4 mile times) without a tune. no way that srt is stock unless that was an lt1 car with ls1 tailights
