So I drove my friends cobra... *power shifting vid*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNoYlB0aycU
So a friend of mine and myself bolted up some slicks to his 2004 Cobra. He never really had anyone to show him how to drive hard, and was planning on going to the drag strip tomorrow so he wanted some pointers.
We took his car out and I must say I was impressed. The cable clutch assembly on the cobra seems to work so much better than the hydraulic setup that I have in my camaro and my GTO. His car makes about 415 rwhp *stock pulley*. The car pulls extremely well. I had been in the car about 15 minutes when the video was filmed. With some seat time I know I could produce a very good time at the track with the Cobra.
Mods in this video were 16" ET Streets, intake + Exhaust. It was cold out so the car broke loose hard going into second gear both times.
Note, this is the same Cobra I outran a week ago in my GTO.

I seen your right foot moving, that is not power shifting man. That is just really fast shifting. Don't get me wrong, it was a good rip through the gears.
This is power shifting.

Hahaha I'm pissed because i have a nice bottle of sctoch in my backpack and i'm at work till 11pm.
I just tell it like it is, don't want people getting/giving incorrect information making the F-body crowd look bad. In the import crowd it is called flatfoot shifting or no-lift shifting.
