The Cobra would rape a normal H/C/I LS1.

so just cuz its a dig the cobra is going to lose? sounds like a great concept to me .

Also if you didnt see in your quote sarge stated NORMAL h/c/i ls1's. Normal to me would consist of an ls6 maybe fast 90 intake, ls6/5.3 heads and a small 224 cam maybe a little bigger. Any thing much over that your getting into a whole other ball game. You could go into so many variables and arguments here on who should win. Also a kb cobra was never stated what size pulley either. Oh and m6 ls1s are also dyno queens too

The 3.4 Whipple Cobra I had raped H/C/I LS1's all the time, including a dig.
One was a good buddy of mine who has a Fast 92, AFR heads, and an MS4 cam through a 4200 stall. Beat him by 3-4 lengths from a dig to 135 consistently.

A H/C/I LS1 vs. a pullied and bolt-on terminator is a fairly good race. A KB Cobra should stomp the LS1, though.

Idk, reason I ask is sat nite this guy had a custom cam (601 lift) thats all I remember, ported ls6 heads, ported fast 90/90, built six speed with 4.10s dyno tuned yada yada vs a KB cobra, not sure what pulley was on it I just know it was a KB with full exhuast with mickey stickies. from a roll the cobra beat him by 2-3 cars, but from a dig the ls1 put it to em. oh and the ls1 had gay nitto drs.

And ever sense this race my friend has been saying "oh KB cobras are the **** they kill LS cars blah blah blah" So I was jus hopeing someone had a good track vid or something

I ran a whipple cobra a few times making 6XX when I had a 408ci making 510whp. He was on ET streets I was on stock tires. I spun a lot, he dead hooked from a 20,40, and 60 punch. It was pretty much neck and neck till about 100 then I would come around him.

I would say you don't have a chance if he hooks. Those cars can't go anywhere without hooking up though man... they have a big problem with traction

I just have a pullied Cobra and raced an SS over the weekend with H/C/I and I barely beat him ( half a car)....The SS runs 11.30 at 121. If I had a KB things would be ugly.
