Can't look at it on this comp. Was it the blue one that was at grudge in Sac with the girl driving it? Was there with a black one as well. I figured it was on spray or something. Either way super impressive. I hate jeeps but srt8s make me a little emo.

The problem is, as above the motor build costs a ton. SRT8 stuff just isn't as cheap to mod yet.
11.5s trapping 119 in a 5000lb. AWD Jeep is ******* fast. You'd have to be blind not to see that.
That is one hell of a daily driver.

Yeah it is that one your thinking of, and the crazy part is, the final pass that it made it went 11.0 at like 120 something. I was there and couldnt believe it myself.

well i know 11.5's is fast for a jeep, but there are some TB SS's out there cutting as good of times all motor.. without a stroker too

I will admit that is quick but that was alot of money spent to go only that fast.

My buddies runs 12.8s with an intake. AND the brakes don't suck, and the suspension doesn't suck.... AND the interior doesn't suck, better NAV, audio, etc. Better styling.
Better in every possible aspect, besides the engine... LSX>SRT8.
06/07/08 Jeeps can be had in the $20s all day long

That is a sick SRT-8. Most of the ones around me usually end up seeing my distant tail lights. The last one I ran had nitrous, bolt ons, tune, and I put a couple of truck lengths on him.
I ran a viper truck the other night that had bolt ons, intake, and a canned tune and it was ugly also.
My 07 TBSS was purchased for 23K 2wd 1ss.
stock motor ls2
TSP PRC stg 2.5 heads -1000
TSP 224/230 on a 112 +4 - 300
FLT level 5+ tranny - 3200
Vig 3200 multi disk - 880
HPTuners - 650
labor - done by me so free
my truck makes 430rwhp and 430+ torque and will run 11's and cost me half of what one of those trucks cost new.
I have a nitro daves plate kit waiting to go on also looking for 11.1-11.2's in the winter.....

^^^ See thats what I'm talking about. That is the reason I would want one.
I still like the styling of the SRT8 jeep but I will take the TBSS for my performance needs.
The one thing I would like to do is put a turbo kit on an AWD TBSS and I have an instant 4 dr Typhoon.

TBSS is a shitbox. Period. That platform was outdated before it debuted. Hence why resale value is complete ****.
