Im not tryin to crack on anyones car, I'd like to just know....
Also, when it has a unique paint job, it's easier for bystanders and your pit crew to track you and your progress.
The stickers are typically required by the event sponsors and organizers, but it never hurts to use them to cover up body damage.
Did you watch any of the other races? In the group with all the Porsche's and BMW's a guy I've raced a couple times was going through the hairpin with a double yellow out and a navy blue porsche came in and took him and 2 others out just plowing through them...any chance you saw that or heard about what happened?

Unfortunately, no - I didn't hear anything about the blue Porsche... There was a Civic that bashed in the door to an Integra in the Sunday Group C race, but that's about all I heard..
What? I only see Camaros. Do you mean the yellow camaro with the full body kit?

this is the incident i was referring to, on board with the guy I know:

These videos are deceiving from the interwebs point of view. CA Speedway is so big, there's no speed references. We're nearing 150 on the front and 140's in T1 and T2. My right side rib area was bruised first time I was there (from the seat digging in).
That area where the boneheaded Porsche comes through is the slowest part of the track, prolly around 50 (I'm too busy to look down there).

The number is obvious.
"CMC2", "TTC" are classifications.
"NASA" and "Toyo" are required by rule as they are the sanctioning body and series sponsor respectively.
I also see a "Grassroots Motorsports" sticker. Chances are good you'll get your car in a magazine
I see a "Racer's Wholesal" decal ... that a race contingency sponsor as is "Carbotech" just below it.
Not sure what's on the C-Pillar, but probably more of the same.
The contingencies significantly offset the cost of racing. And you don;t necessarily have to win or even podium.
The color schemes are done that way to draw attention to the car and thus the sponsor decals.
