G8 Photo Shoot...
I friend of Mine just picked up a brand new G8 so I took a few pics of it for him. Nothing fancy we did this in the middle of the day so the sun was harsh and it was hot.
Well here we go.
No digital Photo Shoot that is posted on a car Forum is complete with out the required HDR Shot...
I may finish a few more later....

Thanks for the comments guys. I like this car. Sucks it only comes as a auto but it works for my friend since its his DD and the wife can't drive stick. I think the auto saved him from ending up with a minivan...
As for the HDR. I personally don't like the HDR only pics. HDR is a tool for processing it has been used far to much as the only change make to a pic.

Thanks guys I was a little worried about location. But the more I shoot the less location has an effect on the final pics. Some locations are great but in reality the pics are about the car. I think these came out well for the location and middle of the day shooting.

The first one and the one with the front right wheel are nice.
The others are inconsistent in their processing. I never really like added vignetting, and the HDR is well overcooked (even for HDR). Just too much of a halo around the car in the sky. HDR is a neat tool, but the effect is so strong that a little goes a long way.

Great images! Polarizer? What setup do you have?
Here are some G8 pictures I took too if you wanna check them out.

Overcooked HDR is a fan favorite. Trust me I dislike the addition of hard lined over cooked HDR images as well, but most people like them so I usually do one. Inconsistant processing? Really does it matter each picture is its own image its not a story of a car in a parking lot. The vignetting was the last great thread so I understand the dislike of that as well.
HDR should be used as a tool not as a finished processed image.
