Only V6 worth a build is a 3.8 like the TT/A's and GN's.. Theres a ton of aftermarket companies out there now making parts for those motors. Ive seen all aluminum 3.8's making 1000+HP.

if the sale goes through on my 99 formula..i will be looking for a 3rd gen and a member on thi site has given me loads of info on how to do the 6.0L 6spd swap..should be fun...oh yeah and the genrators over here in iraq are all TURBO diesels...so....

And about the 3.8 thing. I know about 50 racers over at E-Town that would disagree with you. And blow youre doors off at the same time.
And BTW, My LT1 Vette runs 13's bone stock.
