Yeah, spend thousands of dollars, and many hours of labor, research, and bloody knuckles. And run a 13

Only V6 worth a build is a 3.8 like the TT/A's and GN's.. Theres a ton of aftermarket companies out there now making parts for those motors. Ive seen all aluminum 3.8's making 1000+HP.

he spent $2800 total on the entire car (including the car) and went from high 17's to 13's running stupidly rich. the car has since hit mid 12's on the 60-1 turbo. he's now running a T76, it's gonna be quick.

3.1's are **** next to 3.8's in terms of performance.

A T76 on a 3.8 would be more than enough to push it into the 10's.

Isn't that what the LT1 and L98 people do?

BTW, the 3.8 isn't all that special either. Sounds like **** and is WAY overpriced.

Works both ways.

NO.. I see you have an L98 Thirdgen. I take it you are unhappy with youre performance? Its very VERY easy to go VERY fast in a GEN1 + GEN2 SBC. I dont know were you have been the last 40 or so years.
And about the 3.8 thing. I know about 50 racers over at E-Town that would disagree with you. And blow youre doors off at the same time.
And BTW, My LT1 Vette runs 13's bone stock.
