Vids of my TT Chevelle
My son wanted to take some some video's and post them on you tube so here goes. He's only 8 so give him a break on the "wandering camera" in the first vid and where he decided to shoot from in the second. We are working on his camera skills. I needed to free up a pair of wheels and what better way to do that with a gratuitous burnout or two. Those poor 295/50's never had a chance!

Thanks
I have to admit I didnt do the best job at keeping a build thread going. With as much of a resource as the site was to me I should have done a better job for others to use as a reference. Part of it was the fact that I was just too plain lazy to walk all the way back to the house to get the camera once I got started every night. Here are a couple of old posts with some info about the build. In a few months the engine is coming back out to get some good piston, rods, new cam and some other misc stuff done.

Should have put this in the last post. Stock 06 LQ4 other than a small cam and a spring/pushrod upgrade. I am running borg S256 turbo's through
a 4L80. Last year the car went 11.01 with a 1.78 60' running 10 psi. The old converter was way too tight and the brakes wouldnt hold anything more than a 1 psi or so launch at the track. I loosened the converter about 400 rpm and did some brake upgrades and can now build about 2-3 psi on the street. I also dumped the blowmasters and installed some dynomax ultra flows and picked up another 1 psi of boost. I am sure with the slight bump in boost to 11 psi and a better launch she has a 10.7X in her.

I didnt post this vid at first but everyone got such a kick out of my son so here goes. He's a little gearhead in training! Every time we get in the car he wants to hear the "turbo whistle" as he calls it and he wants me to do burnouts. Since he mentioned it in the vid I have had the car since 1986. It was a California car that went to Arizona for a few years and then back to Cali. The guy I got it from had a brother that owned a little used car lot and he would bring cars back to sell when he visited them. I had my heart set on a first/second gen Camaro till my dad and I looked at the Bu as we all call it. It started out as a 307 2bbl car and has had a 350, 400, 454 and a 502 in it. The best mod of all was the combination that's in it now. On with the vid!
