The GT500 is not lighter then any of the new Camaros and the Z28 would put a spanking on the GT500. Have you seen what GT500s run stock in the 1/4? It's an embarrassment for a car making that much HP.

thought this was a pretty bad *** video... like mentioned even with an extra 114 hp it barely beats the Camaro SS. plus with the GT500 price tag $$$$ you save on the Camaro SS.

2010+mustangs vr 2010 camaro ss for all the ford boys out there!, the facts, the new 2011 mustang 5.0l -competition-2010 camaro ss, it WILL be a competitors race hands down.there's a lot of crap out there on the internet saying that the 2011 5.0 will eat the 2010 ss! right, I've seen ss's with a good driver do better numbers on the quarter mile than a 2011 5.0; eat it, like it or not thats the way it is. oh, yea, the hype with the 2010 mustang vr 2010 camaro ss,once again 2010 mustang is no competition for the ss I've personally ate 2010 gt's with just a 2006 gto with 400hp under the hood not to mention my 2010 ss will eat a 2010 gt any day. one more thing, you ford boys want to make stink about 2010 camaro ss pitted against a 2010 mustang as being a unfair challenge well what do you call it when it's ok to pit a ford shelby with a ss, the shelby has about a 114hp difference then the ss, hypocrites, when the the z28 comes out we'll see who concurs, the 2012 camaro z28 with said 565hp. these are the facts eat it and like it; and the video that shows the shelby spanking a ss, well with the shelby having 114+ extra hp did anybody happen to notice that on a straight line 1/4 mile race the ss was only a cars length behind the shelby at the end of the race! yea, that's right, the ss was right on the shelby's *** what does that say for the shelby? you ford boys are disillusioned.
