Default C6Z on 360 forged. . .

Well, one of the local GT500 guys traded in his oval for a C6Z happened to come across a great deal on some 360 forged. . .since he hasn’t been able to give up his SVT forums yet I figured I'd do him the favor of posting these pictures up. . .

Sitting on some Mesh 8's . . . .

Enjoy! - Not too bad for a point and click camera on such short notice - I think this takes the cake on his old GT500. . .lol

Tell him to make sure the bolts on the wheels aren't circa the local hardware store LOL.

Nice setup for sure, those are Mesh 8's though

Nice Vette, but the wheel offset is messed up. Looks like it's off at least 15mm, probably more.

you sir hit it on the nail with a hammer that's what is happening! Aside from the slammed part where we live roads suck dick so that's about as low as you can get safely....

Tints getting done today, as for the sound it's stock lol... But he has a borla stinger on the way should be here this coming week.

Plans are in the works for possibly h/c/I but he had to choose one or the other and corvette garage *which is located here in Lubbock tx* had these wheels out back screaming take me! I think he made the better choice!

Big Bowl win for you guys against Michigan State. Sucks that Leech is gone; although, I do like the defensive coordinator that coached the bowl game. Appologies for the off tipic post.

Guess I'll add again that I like the Vette & the wheels. The right fitment (offset) would have made the wheels look perfect. Slamin' it lower won't fix the offset issue.

Nice set up. Those Mesh 8's are one of my favorites on the C6 Z06.

Yeah, really does suck about what happened the whole town has fire myers stickers and upside down tech flags all over this place with pirate flags everywhere, James transferred schools he hasn’t stepped foot back on campus. It has been a huge deal here this town is a little too wild sometimes for how big it really is. (Off topic)

But to your reply yeah' the offset is a battle right now on the local forum too along with for some reason and I don't for the life of me know why (guess because it looks different in person). The fitment of the rear tires some are saying it doesn't fill the whole fender? When clearly in person it does perfectly . . . . if he did try and expand it out the tires would show themselves. Personally, I like the setup as is but it needs to be lowered . . .

I can understand though that offset just looks too G-ride for some.

I've seen quite a few 360 Forged Z06 setups in person. Their fitment was dead on. It's probably just the ride height, and angle of the pictures.

Unless this was one of their first sets, I don't see how they could be far off. They've sold a rediculous amount of setups for these cars.

Usually, wheel designs are available in different offsets. This way, the customer can choose which offset best suits his needs for appearance & clearances. The fronts are close & appear to be a different offset than the rears. I say "appear" because there's no way for me to know for sure. Anyway, if the pic shows the onyl rear offset available, then the wheel designer dropped the ball.
