NO!!!! They are LEDs in side the wheel wells lighting up the (chromed) suspension so you can see it. We go to alot of night time shows and none of that could be seen without some type of light. Trust me these look VERY good under there and are not ricey at all. Very little light shines out on the ground and when the wheels are turning it looks even better!!!

Looking good as always. I just ran across the article on the car in High Performance Pontiac from September. It's amazing how much the chromed calipers adds to the overall look of the car.
And those are some crazy bright HIDs! What most of you didn't see is that the same ones are in the truck that pulls the trailer.
I've recently been playing with a new feature that allows me to bring out underexposed shots, so I tried it on your shot with the fenderwell lighting and it really shows it better.
If I would have known you would've posed for night shots, I would've used the tripod. It was right next to me. Next time.

Yeah, I have done a good job on it haven't I???
LOL...the lights in the truck are brighter!!! Did you notice the decals on the rear door of the trailer....its not bragging if its true!!!
The night shots are cool...thats the first time I have had it out since putting the LEDs under it. I knew it looked cool in the shop but seeing it rolling blew me away (I had to let Cecilia drive around the block one time while I watched! ) You will have to try to shoot some video of it next time!

Oh, the truck was obviously brighter, especially being that high up. You can probably see for 1/2 mile on a clear night. I didn't see the decals, but I'll have to look for them next time.
Wait until I use the tripod for some night shots. It's a whole different look--in a good way.
Depending on how much light there is, video doesn't turn out too good unless I use nightvision. But if I do that, the colors go away. If we can shoot video when there's just enough light to illuminate the car, the lights below should be enough and it would look like the edited picture above.
Too bad it's pretty quiet this weekend. Are you going to be out?

They're actually not as blue as in the pictures. I had adjusted the white balance for more color contrast during the night. In real life, they're very close to white with a hint of blue. Imagine the color of a white dwarf star. (Sorry, only thing I could think of this early.)
