motortrend what were they thinking letting the test go with a tire spinning run we know today sub 13's to high 12's is possible

lol, i dont know where they get their drivers from...

I personally switched from a 98 cobra to an ls1 a while back... Out of the box, ls1 destroys the cobra hands down.

Means a '98 SS is capable of running high 12 sec or low 13 sec times in the quarter mile. I ran my bone stock 01 A4 with shitty goodyear eagles againsy my buddies full bolt on 97 Cobra, put about 2 car lengths on him in the 1/8th
