Wow...they finally made one that doesn't suck.
Only took a ******* decade to get a real transmission....might as well give it some nuts finally.
Still can't get any open roof without a vert. Still will sticker 40k

Agreed, if they consistently put out those numbers I will be really surprised, I guess they're making up for the past though.
Wow dude stop being so negative, I thought it would sticker at around 30k but if I'm wrong and it goes for 40k name me another car that will run even with this car for the price.
Anyone have real world weight numbers for the 11s?

While they 'might' have thier market segment on lockdown IF these turn to be production #s; anyone with $ or brains would go buy a used vette first if they were really into going fast as a whole package.

Sorry just speaking the truth, as it really is. Ive looked at '10s at dealerships they've been between 38-43k depending on options/dressup.

So they need fake back seats? Worse milage? Higher insurance premiums? A car that's going to depreciate into nothing instead of getting something that has taken the hit but will hold it's resale well for years?
It's a cool car; and it's about damn time they made one REALLY worth owning. Dumbest remark? No...not even close.

I would take a nice, low mileage 03/04 Cobra without even THINKING about the 2011 GT. "Congradulations on your new purchase sir, now you can join up with the other 100,000 owners"
Cobra all day.
Cobra all day.

I wasnt expecting it to take you guys away from chevy at all but I'm the type of person who can respect any type of car that is well put together and puts out nice performance numbers from the factory... but maybe thats just me being unbiased.
Haha thats funny because most of the 03/04 owners on SVTP are talking about selling theirs to pick up a new '11 GT

Solid numbers for a ford.
I hope that they keep the price at 30k and that they all dyno like this. If so you know big boy chevy will just have to match it, or go above and beyond like they normally do.
Its about time that ford built out a decent car thats not a cobra. Now us chevy guys have something else to pick on.

Ok, I'm a GM guy but that is bad ***! I found pricing online today, the base GT will start at 29,645 and the premium GT starts at 32,845 plus 850 destination. I think it's gonna be a sweet car. I'll see if I can find the link..
