the new 5.0 with slicks or radials right now will go bottom 12's, good driver of course. You throw a cam and head with some exaust and tune, 450-480 rwhp(low11's) based on the new pattern with these engines. They are not messing around anymore. Ford really stepped up.

I think everyone here does if they were honest with themselves. I want a 5th gen Camaro too. Admittingly not as bad as one of these 5.0s .. but still.

If it's anything like the 4V motor are (which I am under the suspicion that they are) Than a heads/camS swap is a waste of money and time as they already flow extremely well, especially in this new motor. But I see what you're saying. Definately a lot of potential!

Since they ran 110mph on Street tires with the car bone stock,I would think you may have to worry a little more than you think.Without watching the video again,They said it was already faster than the SS they tested in Some category..0-60..1/4mile??

Mod for Mod..I think they will be pretty evenly matched...In my OPINION,The biggest difference is the new camaro is about the Most Hideous looking car On the road today. The Mustang while not the Best looking car I have seen,Is much nicer than the camaro. It's a real shame that Gm hung the Camaro nameplate on that thing.

Again...Just my opinion.
