lol yeah having a video from a police helo would def take the sting out of the ticket..
what a waste of tax payer money tho! sorta like in my town, the cops used their homeland security money to purchase a bunch of night vision equipment...which only gets used to watch kids party

Those video's rocked. I agree if the state won't try or allow a race track then what do they expect? It's going to happen unless pol can make a short trip to te track. I'd rather spend 30 dollars max to race on a track then several hundred to get pulled over racing any day. Law enforcement need to understand a lil more and help get a track up. In certain states they line up cops against other ppl in there squad cars and even their own race cars! Tell me that isn't some cool stuff?

You ever think maybe they were flying around and said, "Hey look, a street race!" I doubt the sole purpose of that bird is to go out and look for street racers in ******* Nebraska. Some of you need to pull your head out of your asses instead of just rambling.
There are a lot worse places to street race. I agree some cops are just dicks, I don't care for them anymore than anyone else, at least you don't have to work with them.
It sucks that you guys don't have a track to go to. We have a track about 45 minutes from my house but the damn thing is always broken or something. Around here there are mainly ricers. Not like it was back in 95-97 when there was mainly Fox body stangs. I couldn't imagine what it's like now with the LS engines and Cobras and such. The scene still sucks here.

the ticket is a write off, whatever the price was, was probably cheaper than renting a heli, getting permits, renting a camera, finding someone willing to get beat that bad, and editing. probably what 500 for the ticket tops. the other was would have been couple g's

THat race couldn't be any safer. No oncoming traffic or cross streets. Thats what happens in small towns. I got a ticket recently for throwing coffee at idiot neighbor's "Caddy". Little dip **** and his "mama" keep parking in front of my house. They have a two car garage and drive way! Thats how they make money. Writing stupid tickets for ****. Honestly I'll do it again. It's only a Class C.

I was sitting there after the ground cop pulled behind us and said to myself "are you serious?" and started laughing. I had a smile on my face when the officer came to my window. We all thought it was a weather helicopter, because Lincoln doesn't have a police helicopter.

Man you guys on the southern side of the border are lucky! Know what happens to us up here in Canada if you go 30mph over the speed limit? Well there are a few things, easiest, car and license gone for 7 days+a hefty charge leading to a HUGE increase in auto insurance.
Other options can include "stunt" driving and not forgetting "street racing" which can give you a fine of up to 10,000 dollars plus a license suspension and bye bye car.
