Another 2010 Ford Mustang feature is AdvanceTrac® traction control. According to Ford, AdvanceTrac uses sensors to detect and measure side-to-side skidding conditions. It does this by monitoring the vehicle's speed, throttle position and steering wheel angle. When AdvanceTrac senses wheel slippage, it reduces engine torque and applies the brakes as needed.

it cuts throttle, and applies the brakes. also torque managment will cut throttle response at shifts.
I'm a Ford Senior Tech, I know how Ford's IVD works. I bolded the part you as well as a few others just don't seem to get. WHEEL SLIPPAGE - that car doesn't have the power to cause traction issues at those speeds. The video shows the GT getting run down in gear. Not at the hit of the throttle, or on shifts. IMO the traction control was NOT a factor here.

I HOPE you aren't bad-mouthing me. I haven't sent out your fanclub dues yet. I can raise them you know.

BTW the reason I was asking if those two "gentlemen" were talking about me, or referring to my signature because of this

Unless you are in your 40s / 50s, I am not young.

Since when are the words "God Bless America" scary? Because that's what my sig says.

It would be cool to have Ranger drive the SS and Evan Smith drive the GT in a race.

Yes, and I hope to continue to act young. I would never want to start acting all whiney, grumpy and old.

Why do you assume you were supposed to be impressed? I surely didn't put it there to impress anyone.
BTW you're little cartoon avatar is cute two
BTW, Sorry if I find it pretentious for someone to be condescending towards me in an intellectual way, when they don't even understand the usage of "too, two, and to"

I think the GT should have the advantage from a roll but not that much. The tranny gearing and a 3.73 car would actually start to suffer at higher speeds.

The LS1 f-bods are still amazing performing cars, even by today's standards.

From a dig though the 2011 GT should have a clear, but not that much, advantage.

It's PROBABLY going to be a driver's race between the 5th Camaro and 5.0 GT I agree. The GT having the advantage. But if a 5th gen owner can drive slightly better than the GT owner, the GT will more than likely go down. This is referring to stock vs stock btw.

That's what I've been saying. Breaking it in with more seat time and the tc off will probably put the 5.0 in front but not by a lot. The SS will hold it;s own.
