I believe it has the Switzer 850 package. Not sure though.

Thing got rolled on.

The AMS GTR was a beast at TX2K10 also; similar setup, AMS850 package. I believe they were the first to have a GTR in the 9s. The car was impressive...

"Thing"? Do you mean the GTR?

Because I saw a GTR disappear from a Bugatti that WASN'T racing. Then later in the video, when the Bugatti owner decided WOT was a good thing, the GTR got pulled.

If that is rain coming off the tires both drivers are crazy. Not in a good way.

Agreed. Not that he wasn't racing...just that he wasn't putting it all out there.

That racing is freakin crazy i believe some traction was a problem or something for the veyron. The race would be a lil closer than that.

thats what i thought as well. for that gtr to only have 850hp and similar weight it pulled awful hard on the veyron. made me wonder if the veyron really was going WOT

GTR is about 600lbs lighter.

There are different settings on the Bugatti that enable it to make more power. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but in the first race, it was most likely not on the highest setting hp wise.

there is a key in between the driver seat and the door, down on the floor that you have to turn on the bugatti to get the full 1000hp out of it

I figured that might be the case but wasn't sure. Either way the GTR had nothing for the Veyron when it was going all out.

I think a bolt on 2011 Mustang GT could beat that Veyron.

Why risk either car, at any speed like that in the rain? Stupid.

Regardless, that was a FAST GTR. And for AMS to run 9s with there package, completely explains the Amtrak train distance it pulled in this video. Which by the way, IMO showed the Bugatti leaving first. Don't really care what mode its in. Both cars are both nuts.
