Let me know what you guys think, I know that most people dont like the look of the side exit exhaust on these cars. But honestly I think it looks good, and the sound is unbelievably good, the videos were recorded with my BlackBerry; so, sound quality isn't 100%.

I know that most people dont like the side exit set up on F-Bodies, but I wanted to try something different, plus before I just had my exhaust dumped behind the rear axle. I believe because of the heat/carbon on the rear differential is over heated my rear main seal and caused it to leak, so it was either buy another bassani dual (800+$) or my idea of a custom side exit lol. In person it sounds sooo good, especially under acceleration.

Yeah sorry for the quality of the videos guys, I just moved out and had an electrical problem in my new apartment which fried my tv, xbox, surround sound so a new camera went to the bottom of my buy list.

So far I havent had any carbon build up, but it has been raining here every few days. But compared to my old set up its alot more tame, not as loud, but has an amazing tone.

lol, they make a thing called a surge protector. As long as you're happy, and im sure you'll change exhaust again, but now you can release the hammer of god straight into ppl's windows, and you thought I pissed people off doing rolling burnouts......

Sounds pretty good, I've been wanting to put side exhaust on my 99 z for awhile. I'm gonna have a buddy make me some boom tube style tips so I dont lose too much ground clearance.

 

not a big fan of the side exit but the car still sounds sick and looks great!

 

LOL Travis there is a reason I told you NOT to drive my car while you had lol, and yeah your right Ill swap out the exhaust again and again lol.
