Must have been, no way those Z06's would have walked away from him that easily, unless he just doesn't know how to drive!

Cobra was not stock. It has a pulley, off road X, tune, and Nitto NT05 R drag radials. Makes around 420-430 RWHP. Same power level as the Vettes. He drives decent too.

Must be a bad tune then because he should be at the minimum 450rwhp.

Ehh not necessarily. They make all different sizes and he could have a big pulley on it like a 3.0 or a 2.93. They really need a smaller one like a 2.76 or 2.63 and then add like a 4lb lower and the outcome would be different.

Good runs though and some strong running vette's!

Well, it had a stock catback which is hurting him from what I am told. It is also hot as hell out here in Vegas. These runs were done in about 97 degree heat at night, which does not help that hot blower.

He has a 2.76 on it. He is going to get a catback and then a ported eaton and run us again. I will probably bring my car this time though. hehe Nice stang in your sig.

I believe the 3.0 pulley is the stock size no? Who gets a 2.9 pulley without a lower

LMAO... Have you guys not seen many C5Zs run Cobras or something? After seeing the Cobras mods, or lack there of.. I would expect both Zs to be pulling a LOT LOT harder than they would, shouldn't have been a race.
What are the mods on the Zs? Even a half *** H/C setup should destroy a simple pullied Cobra.
I see they are making about the same power.. Should have been 4+ lengths easily unless the Cobra is just that bad *** of a driver and Zs are taking is easy on the shifts (which the yellow on seemed he was).

Must be a hell of a driver.

The stock cat-back is restrictive on the Cobra's.

Mine picked up over 30 rwhp, just by swapping to a aftermarket cat-back.

The yellow Z was taking it easy on the shifts. His trans about done. Also the camera car had a 200lb passenager in it and the other cars did not have a passenger. Cobra runs good, but is no match for these cars until further mods, which I know are coming. Should be a fun rematch.

In the Cobra world thats stock ...weight was a big factor in those races.

No, in Cobra world that is a pullied car.

A pullied/ported Cobra would still lose to a properly built C5Z.
