Default Pics of my Z06 with my new Nikon D3000

Just a few test shots with my new camera, still figuring this thing out but its really something else.

Got this car like 2 years back, its an 03 Corvette Z06 50th ann. and to this day im still blown away. I had a 400hp Camaro that was hit by a careless as*hole doing 75 in a 15 on my way to a car show, everything I put into that car, time money and heart was destroyed in a matter of seconds, so I got money back and picked up the vette. These cars are mind blowing and so smooth, but whenever I see a F-body like mine, a little part of me dies.. oh how I miss that car

Definitely need a tripod with the D3000, even if you have the VR lens. I have the same problem with mine if I try to hold it. Pick up a tripod and try using the timer or a remote so your hands are off of it and you will get some great results.

Nice ride, really liking the blue gauges.

A good rule of thumb to go by that might help if your handholding the camera is to divide 1 second by your focal length and that should be your minimum shutter speed.

Example, if your using a 50mm lens try to shoot 1/50 of a second or faster, 85mm=1/85 second etc. Just a general rule to go by that might help.

Enjoy that new camera
