07 Focus ZX3 Dyno 230whp/215wtq (Video inside)
I took my 2007 Focus ZX3 to the dyno on Friday. It was the first time I had dyno'd the car and I was pretty happy with the numbers. This is my daily driver turbo'd hatchback.

Mods:
FSWerks Stage 2 turbo kit
Garrett GT28RS turbo .64a/r
Internal 8lb wastegate
Cast turbo manifold
2.5" stainless steel downpipe
2.5" stainless steel race exhaust (no cats, FSWerks straight-through design muffler)
Bosch 42lb fuel injectors
NGR Type-S bypass valve
ITG Maxogen Air Filter
Garrett FMIC
Turbosmart MBC
Exedy Stage 2 clutch w/ aluminum flywheel
Stock internals, cams, valvetrain, intake manifold, and throttle body
Tuned on 93 octane @ 11psi
11.6:1 AFR, 16* timing
Tuning done by Randy Robles at FSWerks with SCT Xcal2.
Stock numbers: 130bhp/129btq
Today pulled: 227whp/215wtq & 230whp/214wtq
Here's the vid and dyno sheet!

I think it's a shame they never made the later Focus AWD. I can't stand FWD.
I wouldn't mind a turbo AWD focus. Ford just makes a prettier hatch than most other companies IMO.
You might be interesting in knowing that the Euro Focus ST is due to be sold in the US in 2012.
It's going to have 247hp and weigh a hair under 3000lbs; the interior also looks sweet.
Nice car OP. Now crank the boost up.
Quick question though, what made you go with a duratec over the zetec?

I love the new Focus ST that's coming to the states in 2012. I'm already saving to get one. lol

Decent little DD you got there. You did a pretty damn good job making it look nice, but do you really drive it around all gutted like that? I would think it would make for some annoying *** squeaks and rattles.

At the time I gutted it, it wasn't my daily driver. My Mustang had the 2.3L w/ auto that I used as a daily and the Focus was an autocross *****. When the rear main seal went in the Stang, the Focus had to step up and become the daily then while I did a build on the Stang. It was cheaper for me to swap in a 5.0 than to rebuild the 2.3L.

I had an '05 just like that. They were developing that turbo kit while I had mine. I had been a customer of thiers for years on the VW side and they make great stuff.
Did you upgrade the differential at all?

It still has the stock open differential. That's next on my list to upgrade.

I had a little fun last night up at Capitol Raceway in Crofton, MD. I broke the Focus in the 12s!!!!
This was with M/T Drag Slicks 24.5" x 8" x 15" and a 4500rpm two step.
R/T: .133
60ft: 1.915
330ft: 5.413
1/8: 8.293
MPH: 85.87
1000ft: 10.799
1/4: 12.943
MPH: 105.39
I lined up against a fellow Mid-Atlantic Domestics member in a grudge match and I beat him on a holeshot! 13.05 > 13.02
His car is a '00 Mustang GT 4.6L SOHC 5 speed with heads/cams/cai/full exhaust/tune
I also beat a boosted Integra as well. Both runs are in this video.

So something might be amiss on that 'Stang.
Either way, stout little Focus!
