Vengeance Racing | Tim Lynch's Twin Turbo C6 Z06 Build Thread
[CENTER]To some of you the name Tim Lynch might not mean anything. To others who know anything about Outlaw 10.5" Drag Racing know that Tim Lynch is the man to beat and has been for many years. Tim is currently the world record holder for the Outlaw 10.5" series. His new combo which is built around a ZR1 chassis has run a best of 6.26@232mph in the 1/4 mile and 4.15@183mph in the 1/8 mile!
Here is a video of Tim setting the World Record at a recent event known as "Shake Down @ E-Town".

Tim recently purchased a beautiful 5000 mile 2007 C6 Z06. As with anything a true gear head owns it did not take Tim long to decide he needed more power, and a lot of it.
After doing quite a bit of homework, Tim decided twin turbos were in his future yet again. Wanting to produce at least 1000 rwhp he knew that twins were the best way to meet his goal. The next step was to find a shop that was experienced in LSX Performance that he could trust to provide the quality work he is used to. After several conversations Tim decided Vengeance Racing would be his choice for the build.
Modifications will include:
Forged LS7 Shortblock from Proline Race Engines
Diamond LS7 Pistons/TNT Rings
Katech LS7 Rod Bolts
Calico Coated Main/Rod Bearings
ARP Main/Head Studs
Stock LS7 Camshaft/Stock LS7 Cylinder Heads
Upgrading to Hardened Pushrods
Comp 26926 Dual Spring Kit
Comp Trunion Kit for the Stock Rockers
Fuel System consists of Aeromotive's new Eliminator Fuel System for C6/Z06. This fuel system is capable of supporting 1400HP.
We will be using twin GT35R billet wheel turbos / APS Exhaust Manifolds / Tial 50mm Q Blow off Valves / AMS1000 Boost controller.
Putting the power to the rear wheels will be an RPS Triple Carbon Clutch with hydraulic pressure supplied by Tick Performance Adjustable Master/Remote Bleeder.
9PSI/Pump gas/No Meth

Well we finally got some good #s!!! We had an issue with the clutch that delayed us a bit, but the results speak for themselves!!!
25.6 psi peak- The huge dip was right after peak boost was achieved and the car blew the tires off on the dyno. The graph below we pulled out 2 psi and put four bodies in the back of the car and made similar #s... Notice on this graph how hard the power was coming on... If we could keep the tires from spinning I think we could see close to 1400rwhp!!!
25.6 psi Vs 24 psi with ramp change on the AMS1000
Ill be posting some videos on the dyno and street later this week.
