We will be out at HRP for the NMCA/NMRA race this weekend! We have both the Mustang and Camaro out there and will be running.

OP:
Thanks for putting this up, just got it up on youtube the other day and didn't get around to making a thread yet. Hope to have some more good footage of both cars this weekend!

You're welcome! Let me know if you want to start your own thread about it, and I'll take down this one... Great car by the way!

Have they broke the 8.50's with that yet? I remember reading about the old motor to this car in Camaro performers a few years ago. The C5R 427 almost at a 1000hp. Now I know the bumped up to the 433 with a little north of 1000hp. This car ran what an 8.57 last year at the shoot out?

Not enough piston height/weight there to take the extra abuse (sporadic change in cylinder pressure/combustion)

Someone else ran a 8.4something in an N/A C5R car. It was a white one. SAM's no longer the fastest N/A car.

I've been trying to find the vid, saw it on Facebook I believe from GMHTP's page. It was a white Camaro with a big pro-stock scoop on the hood. From the sound it sounded like a 4 speed.

GOOD JOB WeatherMan!!!! I was right!

Tim Lynch and Steve Petty from Proline built the motor for that car so I am not surprised that it ran what it did. Helluva car!
