Thanks Krislem, I figure there's a soldier somewhere working or suffering for my freedom to travel this awesome country. There was some 18 year old kid 69 some years ago died in Pearl Harbor for that right. I figure I better honor that thought and get out to enjoy it because they can't.

Thanks guys. Wausau? Yup back like 5 years ago. It seemed like I was the only LSx car among old school v8's and all the Asian kids in Hondas. The big hang out, meeting point in the central WI is 7-8 pm at Taco Johns for Taco Tuesday in Rapids. Theres a few guys on here that usually show up from time to time there in the summer.

Food? I took a cooler, packed food from the grocery store to save money on snacks, esp bottled water. Thats what gas stations rape you on the most.
I did allow myself up to $20 a day in local restuarants to get the feel for the area. I usually find some mom n pop joint and when they ask what do I want, I just tell them to give me whatever they are known for. I really don't like to count that for the fact is your going to have to eat anyways.
I did bring back 3 cases of beer DG and 8 lbs of fresh live lobster at $5/lb from Rockland ME for Mothers Day. I averaged about 25 mpg at about $3 gallon so about $500.
Plus theres also all the attractions. As a general rule of thumb, I use the factor of $125 straight cost a day barring wear, tear, and depreciation. Mainly from tires doing a burnout in every state.
If you need any pointers, just lmk, I've seen about 40 states doing this and have found some very cool places along the way
