I can't believe my eyes. What the hell is in that hybrid? It didn't make 100hp stock and it was made for 60+mpg. I'm sure the gas mileage has fell off considerably or the batteries have been amped, but still it was moving out from the start and was even ahead when he sprayed it. That's the first hybrid I've seen that moves out like that. What's this world coming to? LOL

My guess is that it either has a K20a2 ('02-'04 RSX-S engine) or a K20Z1 ('05+ RSX, new Civic Si). And good lord that was some spinning when he hit the nitrous

Yeah it's a K20. According to the info i've been able to find this particular insight runs mid 11's on spray. Apparently it is becoming a common swap, i found a good handful of them floating around across the country.

I have seen a stock K20 turbo'd lay down 460whp so they are stout enough to make a little power..

That's what I'm getting at. I've seen 500+ whp stock block K20s, and even at that point its not the motor that will give you problems, its the tranny.
