Engagement Shoot @ Half Moon Bay CA
Scouted out this area and gambled on it even though weather was 60 degrees, overcast and windy. Pictures turned out great IMO. Both client was team players with humor so that made it even more fun to shoot. As always, all comments welcomed, good or bad.

Thank you. Glad someone can sense that, seeing that I always try and capture the genuine emotions between two people with engagement shoots. To me, these are the ones that they'll look back in years from now and realize how much they've gone through.

What kind of camera are you using if you don't mind me asking?? Lens? Any input would be appreciated bc my g/f just got a nikon d3000 and she's trying to get into photography.

OOOOOH! That's below the belt!
Not really. I shot some with more exposure and all it did was light up the whole picture along with the subjects. Lighting was very even. The setting was not right for that shot, that it. So I filled the subjects in with black. That shot would have been executed correctly with a sun was lighting up the background. But as you can see, there was no sun.
Shot I was going for was similar to this style.
