I actually like the concept of the hood but not how it looks tacked on there. If it was nice and flush (cowl) it would be f*ckin sweet

im not crazy about it either. its temporary until i decide on a different hood or ill buy one when i stop spending money on go fast parts lol. its a bolt on cowl though so not going to make it look good either way i approached it

I totally agree that go fast parts are top priority...isn't there a way to have a body shop make it look flush with a nice paint job? I know the $ would take way from go-fast parts but it would really look sweet with that cowl but smoothed out and painted

I am a body man lol there's just no good way to do it. Your combining 2 different materials. Puddy cracks if it gets too thick (especially with a lot of vibration) plus you will be able to see the repair about 6 months later. it would be more work than it's worth to get it looking decent. Lets just put it this way, the cost of time/labor alone could pay for a brand new fiberglass hood that's lighter and will look way better than the stock metal hood. I think they make a fiberglass cowl that is just like this what I have here that doesn't go all the way to the nose, but then again I like the full cowl anyways a little better I think lol
