my friend (whole family has a 10sec mustang or faster) told me the 5.0 block is only good for 500ish hp before you need the dart block and if thats true i think a lsx block would make more than the sbf but we argue about it all the time.

he has a 306ci notch with t trim vortech i think its making 450-550 and he thinks he is gonna walk my 408 i need a REAL tune first im thinking about putting a 100 shot and running him just to shut him up

Thanks.....I think. lol I do look at things a little different, like for what they are. Not what I want them to be.
I don't know anyone could look at it like that. I have never even seen a 11 sec n/a mod motor(other than the new 5.0) with my own eyes. I'm sure they are out there but I will probally see a unicorn 1st.

Is it 600 for a stock block ls1? give or take? the thing is at the drag strip whenever somebody gets drug dart block, c5r block whatever nobody really gives a ****! lol they are both remarkable blocks for what they are...The mod motor specifically the 03 Cobra is built from the factory and can handle 600 plus with the right tune, it displaces 281 cubes and was massed produced with a full warranty from ford. The new chevy camaro zl1 mass produced and comes with a full warranty bla bla bla! the arguement goes on.

I cracked 4 cylinders in my 349 on motor. My friend had a 347 with a big solid roller c4 and shooting 175 on 2 kits. One button broke at the track and he wired both kits on one button and shot 350 out of the gate and ran 9.20's with a stock 302 block. He did that for a while and blew one set of head gaskets. Fixed it and never had another problem.

Bob had some good running cars and good run his *** off. His blue 98 Cobra and his Fox with the incon twin turbo kit ran well too. Not many people remember he had an LS1 T/A and didn't care for it too much

I went to a street car race up at Budd's Creek years ago and that was the first time I had seen his Fox turbo car. Plate read something like NTSTOCK, and it was running 10's.
