Default Full race 1G Eclipse vs 1998 SS stock longblock/cam/nitrous/glide

Eclipse AWD:
t4 6765 turbo
groden Aluminum rods
wiseco hd pistons
built head
e85
IPT auto Transmission/Convertor
dsmlink
Slicks
spray til 30mph
8 point cage

Best 1/4mi time: 9.0 @ 152mph

V.S.

1998 Camaro SS:
Stock Longblock
Stock intake
Cam
TNT plate unit
Powerglide
Slicks

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcEpj...ayer_embedded#

Is it just me, or should the Eclipse have walked away? I think he was sandbagging a little bit. No way a Stock LS1 with only Cam/N20 and slicks should run anywhere near a 9.0!

Unless that is a 300 shot, there is no way in hell that camaro should have been able to stay with that eclipse.

We all know on this forum and can see its a LS1 with a 250-300 shot.

A cammed LS1 on the blast will move out hard.

Stay away from AUTO DSMS they dont break and they hit full boost from a dig

Pushing down on the rear is common out here in SoCal at the street races.

That's just the crank, it takes a few seconds for the rest of the car to catch up

Actually most 1G (90-94) 6 Bolt Motors very rarely crank walk, 2G (95-99) on the other hand do it very often.
