this might be a repost but i think this vid is pretty badass. This guy went to jail because of this video he made trying to sell the car on youtube. Somebody sent the link to the police after seeing it. this car is a dream!

wow that is amazing.. i wonder how they found out it was him though. I mean you can barely see his face , and no indication of a license plate number to identify the car..
Ive seen plenty of street racing videos on youtube with faces and license plate numbers.
Great video !!!!

There are more and more stories about videos like this where the driver/rider is tracked down and is prosecuted. Be careful, ladies and gentlemen, what we video and photograph and put on the web. Once it is posted or shared, it is around forever.
Even another driver with a cell phone can video someone doing this with the license plate visible in the video and then turn it in to the authorities. Something to be thinking about. I know I do because I seem to end up being the person who sees this all the time, but the second I do it, I get caught. I guess these days it is best to keep it off the streets.

IIRC the story right, this guy was using the video to sell his car, and was bragging about it when someone (might have been an undercover cop, can't remember) came to look at it. I don't think you can try much harder to turn yourself in haha.

The video in the original post could be literally anyone. If theoretically I used his video to sell my Corvette (which I don't have) then they could try to pin it on me as well. I don't personally think it'll hold up in court but good luck to him.
