Default Hows My Car Sound?

It's stock besides the muffler, what do you think?

I honestly think that your muffler sounds very good: menacing, but not ridiculously aggressive.

What muffler do you have on there now?

I had an SLP Loudmouth originally. It was fun around town with 2.73 gears, but drove me absolutely out of my mind with 3.73 gears at sustained speeds of 70 mph on the interstate. I kept the Loudmouth resonator, added the quietest muffler Dynomax makes, and complimented that with two resonated tips. It's much more livable and...I guess I'm becoming an old man.

Again, I like the way that your car sounds. I wouldn't go any louder, but that's just me.

Have a great weekend!

i agree, sounds good. Takes me back to when my car was "Stock" with just the flowmaster muffler.

and yes, full exhaust and going from 2.73s to 3.73s has me at 2k rpm at 55mph.

quite the jump.

Sounds very tame. You might want to check on your driver's side pipe, it is hanging lower and bounces when you rev. If you want to have an aggressive tone you will want to get some LT headers and some duals. Here are some vids of the difference between ORY and Duals on my car.

It's just a Flowmaster 80 Series 1 in / 2 out muffler with custom piping after the axle but it's not a cat back system.

Haha, this is a 3.8L v6 too

Definitely not loud enough for me either but it will do!

Also, the exhaust hanger is broke on the driver side, I just put it on yesterday so it's all good

It still sounds decent at WOT, it loses some of the aggressive sound though.
