picture from video

how do I get a screen print or some kind of pic from video playback? I have the video (.wmv) and want a pic from it.

Play the video in Media Player, get to the part you want to take a picture of and pause it. Then press Alt+Print Screen and it will put a screenshot on the clipboard. Paste the image into a graphics program and then crop out the crap you dont want.

you need power dvd, it is a media player with a screenshot function, it works, i use it

damn it ive been doing it wrong the whole time! i capture the video, bring it into speed razor's time line...export the frame as a jpeg/targa and then have it...that was sarcastic, i actually knew how about the hardware excelleration, but if you have speed razor or premiere you can do it that way
