Come to Silver Lake Michigan on the sand dunes and you will see some trucks that make that silver f-250 look like a hot wheels car. Every single truck up there is overkill and on the verge of being classified as a monster truck. Some even have about the same power as the arena car crushing trucks and run alcohol. I've seen many trucks up there sheer off all the studs on their 6 and 8 lug hubs by gettin into the throttle too much on paddle tires.

Those trucks down there are pretty big....but Texas doesnt have the biggest of everything. Up here the trucks have the ***** to back up the lifts.

I will say one thing....You have not lived until you launch off the peak of a 200 foot sand dune catching some serious air, look at the scenery for a brief second, land on the slope, and go down the mountain of sand like a bat outta hell at WOT in a 1,000 hp truck. Open headers just screaming and the unmistakable smell of alcohol filling the cab.

but we tow them on semi truck beds and what not. We rarely get the chance to drive them much on the road

We have the ***** to back up the trucks

most are powered by diesels and we chug them threw gumbo thick mud and trek them through water.

the last few diesel guys were making conservative numbers, around 550 rwhp and 1300 lb ft of torque and more.

but we have quite a few blown big blocks, nitrous powered trucks, and running alcohol and methanol. We have them here, just not too many people talk to much about them. Built bullet proof and what not. A nice people to visit here in texas for that stuff would be in Alto, Texas... oh well to each their own in each state, but when it comes for power, we have just as much here in texas and the nuts to back it up

Up here we mostly thrive on the sand dunes of Lake Michigan. We have some great swamps but the dunes rule. It seems some guys stick to one thing and the others will take to the alternative route. Not a lotta guys up here do both (swamps and sand). I think the sand is a lot more fun but that is just my preferance. The trucks hook like a top fueler with the deep paddles on there. Pretty cool to see a truck that practically needs an offroad version of wheelie bars, because when they take off they will wheelie and drag the rear bumper through the sand.

Thoes are nice trucks, Found that one in Destin Fl. After being on Vacation with the girlfriend, No Camaro and missing the N Vs. South I had to have some fun! I did whip a Hemi 300 M, and a Mustang Gt in the 740IL.made it home in 10 1/2 hours to Cincinnati!
