Just another reason for me to hate the H2.

haha, that was funny as hell!

i've always thought those H2's are just huge honkin' pieces of ****, and this just goes to prove it!

if i'm gonna buy a Hummer, it's gonna be the real thing, not that yuppie, "look at how much money i have", "i'm just trying to make up for having a small dick", 5 MPG piece of dog **** called the H2

those things are just ugly as hell.....

I love the H2 but it was not made for off roading it was basically made for soccer moms. Most people thought the H1 was not comfortable enough but it wasnt made for that. It was made to go off the pavement. I love both of them but I would rather have an H1.

H2's are hunks of ****. One of my partners has one, he loves it but then again he's a typical yuppie CPA. they are WAY underpowered for thier size and top heavy. A combonation that most soccer moms cant handle. Sometimes underpowered is worse than over powered.

H2 = 4wd Barn, with more doors.

It would be on a flat bed heading back to the dealers.

I also love the commercials with the trucks playing around in 1ft of creamy-no rocks mud and sliding through sand and stuff. I mean....i can do that on my bicycle sooo what's the big deal?

So a car offroading breaks a tie-rod? lol...

Isn't that one of the most common things to go bad when offroading?

I did the exact same thing with an H1. We were in New York (Upsatate) going through some mud hit a big rock and that was all she wrote. Had to hike back and get it pulled out by a deuce (Big military truck). No matter what it is it can be broken when 4 wheeling. H1's are not that great for 4 wheeling to big. Get a little Wrangler Rubicon, they are tough as nails and turn on a dime, but like it was said above the tie rods and drive shafts are the first things to break. Hummers have alot of torque multiplication so hammering the throttle in four low and suddenly getting traction will always stress a tie rod and usually break it. our better off with little or no throttle and easing through rocks like that, which that dude did in the beginning but when it stopped he got on it a little too hard SNAP! Most 4 wheelers carry tie rods or portable welders because they break so much. I don't have an H2, but they actually do have some nice 4 wheeling features (ie elec locker rearend, killer skid cage underneath, BFG all terrains great off road tire not as good as MT's but good all around) just my 2 cent. Can't see why people just seem to eiother love H2's or hate them. My opinion is if you ( the owner) like it thats good enough for me.

I was JUST gonna ask that, why not carry a few spares, there's enough space in that cargo van they call an SUV.

I like the Jeeps, looks like they can squeeze into smaller tighter spots which I think is key when off roading.

I agree, they pretty much are a beffier Tahoe, but i like them. i guess i just don't see how people think they're ugly, i think it's pretty cool looking. And why does everyone have to always bring price into the factor no matter what you're talking about??? Who cares! so if the truck was $8,000 new, it'd be cooler? plain and simple either you like a car or you hate a car, **** everything else.

hahaha, no....if the big *** ugly piece of **** kleenex box on wheels only cost $8000, whoever bought it would still be paying about $5k too much.....

if your intent is to go off-roading, do you even realize how far that $50k+ would go toward building a *****-to-the-wall offroading monster of a Jeep Wrangler? and on top of that, you get WAYYY better gas mileage.

for off-roading, get you a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for ~$25k, then throw another $25k+ into it, and the H2 would absolutely be no competition.....

i'm sorry, but that's just my opinion on the things....they're worthless pieces of **** that suck at off-roading, suck too much gas on the road, and suck too much money outta your pocket....and they get stuck on little 12" tree stumps at Jeep owner's conventions!

i guess what i'm trying to say is.....they suck!
