If you don't believe it check this out... Top Gear did a 1/2 mile drag race between the SLR and the SL55 AMG (which is the same motor as the E55 and runs about the same times due to slight difference in weight) Believe me the SLR will smoke the E55. I work for a Mercedes Dealership

Can you say walked? And the SL55 has 493hp as opposed to the 469hp that the E55 has.

idles like a boat in the water and is just mean when you get on it... then again it IS a 604hp Twin Turbo V12 Oh and for those who haven't watched the vid I posted yet the SLR beats the SL55 by 5 seconds in a 1/2 mile drag race.
