i've played that game, with a good computer and a good sound system with the lights turned out and playing by your self it will scare the **** out of you at some points.

The game was designed to play on your fears. Even when your not fighting anything creepy things are going on like morbid cries that say "they took my baby!" and then the sound of a really morbid baby crying follows. When your walking around **** falls off the walls when u walk by. Although when i played it i didn't scream like a little sissy, but some parts did make me jump, and sometimes i'd have to pause the game and walk away for a bit.

That game only scared me on level 1. The rest was just a good shooter that was very dark.

That is true, the game is not made for their age. If I was eight, I would be terrified of that game as well.

Oh - that makes more sense.

Last time I played a video game was like when Sonic the Hedgehog first came out...

its doom 3 and is pretty jumpy, reminds me of the first resident evil where crap just comes up. Made me jump a few times but i don't remember making any monkey sounds. One thing that sucks is i spent 500 bucks upgrading my system and it still doens't run right. Figured a 9800 pro and a gig of memory would help.
