Default Just started my new 383 for the first time!

Thanks Chad @ LS1Sounds for hosting this vid

As the title says. I fired her up to check oil pressure & to prime the h20/PS pumps. Pressure was great & nothing leaked. The rest of the exhaust is going on today.

383 cid
HPE S-Cam
Jet Hot LT's (soon to have JetHot ORY & loud mouth)

http://www.ls1sounds.com/headers_cut..._1st-start.wmv

EDIT: This startup was just to check the oil pressure and prime the pumps. The next morning I went back out to top of the fluids and noticed I had gotten in a hurry the night before. I had forgotten to hook up the right (2,4,6,8) spark plugs! Not my brightest moment, but no harm done. So anyhow, if anyone was wondering what a 383 w/ open LT's on 4 cylinders sounds like this is it. I'll post a clip with all 8 firing in the near future.

I'll second that, a good wav file would be better imo.

Hope it helps. I just took her for the first drive this afternoon. Raped Ape doesn't quite describe it, but it's the closest thing to it. I'm working on the vid right now. Should have it posted in the next 24-48 hours.

Sorry guys. I spent all my money on the motor, not recording equipment. But, if you're local or willing to make a road trip, you are more than welcome to stop by have a listen in person.

No the sound is crappy because of the video compression codec used. (Digital video is about 233 megs a minute as it comes off you camcorder) Pick a higher bitrate for the audio or drop the video.

If you just export out the audio, then compress it to a high quality .MP3 or .WAV, it will sound a lot better.

Or at least make the car do something. Up and down the street... something
