A FQ400 is not a MR, its a hell of alot more.
Sometimes I really hate that guy too. His top gear WOT test is retarded. What kind of idiot would go WOT in top gear? There is no point to it.

and its only a little bit faster than the 320hp version that you can buy here.....
thats a real quick car.... gotta hand it to them.... they did a pretty good job with it.... but its still over 30K!

Are they really comparing these two cars? 
I'm not road course guy, but it sure seemed like the Lambo was hitting the corners like it was on rails while the EVO had to slide around them.
Phil - You're 100% right about that top gear WOT "test". It's absolutely meaningless. Going WOT in a car like mine at 30mph in top gear places a huge load on the motor. Not a good idea.
That guy reminds me of a Brit Bill Walton...and he's equally annoying.

Yep, but just like the skittles, no matter how fast it is, it's still a ugly 4 door car.

wonder how much it cost mitsubishi for that commercial? seriously! sorry, but a car that is not sliding through the turns is going to pull away(if not immediately) gradually over a car powersliding and scrubbing off speed through the turns. ive read lots of articles on the evo 8 and even i dont believe it will do that

Can anyone tell me, what makes a car out of there league. Eventhough they share simialar stats, how can one be so different. I understand you are comparing two totally different price ranges, but to me thats it.

FWIW the FQ400 is a Waaaaaaay different beast from what we have here in the states. If this is the video I saw recently with Jeremy Clarkston then yea it looks like the Lambo was having a hard time shaking the EVO... but then again neither the Lambo nor the Ferrari Maranello are as fast as one would think so I do believe their results.
As for the turbo lag thing, I know what they're talking about. I've driven an EVO and the lag is Horrible. You put your foot to the floor and count off ...one mississippi...two mississippi....then woosh. If you're in the wrong gear and try to pass someone you really have a shock.... It really is a different type of driving and makes you wish you had the "instant on" of a V8 or supercharged solution....or at least it did for me.

lol yeh the FQ400 might be somewhat equal to the lambo but tell me this, what car are you going to pick more girls up in, a sexy *** lambo or a 4 door car that looks like the car that the girl drives? just my 2 cents lol

I don't care how many girls I can pick up in what car! If your game is that weak where you need a lambo, then thats on you. But I can pull just as many women in an evo than in a lambo.

Stats might be the same and that's saying a lot for the EVO. Pimp factor is out of this world in the Lambo.
