There is a hell of a weight difference between those 2 cars, I would imagine that is a big part of it.

seems about right... at top end the cobra is pulling pretty good ... it definatley seems the vette driver has a good hold of his shifting while the cobra falls back with every shift to have to regain ground. HP/Weight and driver skills

The vette is also a hell of alot more areodynamic that the cobra. And you never know, the vid could be lying about how much power the vette really has.

I would think that if they went from a dig the vette would prolly hook up better too.

vette has better gearing then a cobra, plus if you watch the vid again, look how slow the owner of the cobra is shifting, and looks like the vette owner is shifting his *** off....props to the vette for representing didnt look like the cobra was pulling top end, it looked like the vette said "damn this guy is never gonna pull my stock Z06 " and let off.

i dunno. My bud has basically the same HP in his cobra and he did a 12.2 at 118 and he sux at drivin. Prolly a mid-high 11 sec car where as the Z06 is low 12's. I knwo the vette has areodynamics over it but that really dont play till 130 ish. And they prolly
stopped racin near there.
I suppose the shiftin did suck in teh cobra but still shoudl have been alot better for him. I would be super pissed if my 470 RWHP cobra can barely beat a nearly stock Z06. Gl

Yeah I know the vette is lighter and aerodynamic but come on we are talking 100rwhp hear.One of them is lying about power unless the cobra driver counts to 5 between shifts.
